Nepenthes from Sumatra, named as the vulcan Singgalang, wher it was find and desribed for the first time.

It’s an higland Nepenthes, grows by 2000 to 2800 masl, but  grows also in intermediate condition if a good night drop of temperature.

Gorgeous plant, narrow leafs and grate, really darck pitchers, with a black mouth that becames larger year after year.

The peristome developes shapes like teeth at the edges.
